Brad's career is a testament to his expertise and skill sets in the retail distribution industry, honed over more than twenty-five years. His background spans finance, logistics, manufacturing, and large-format retail distribution, reinforced by his educational credentials—a BS in Economics and Finance from the University of Tennessee-Martin and an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His military service as a pilot in rapid deployment units honed his leadership skills under pressure, while enhancing resource optimization, and operational excellence.
Before his current role, he demonstrated his continuous improvement capabilities at Federal-Mogul, Target Corporation, and Sears Roebuck, where he revitalized underperforming cost centers by reducing inventory shrink, boosting workforce morale, and implementing process improvements. His leadership led these facilities from the lowest to the highest rankings within their networks in a remarkably short time. As a student of ISO standards, Kanban, 5S, and other process improvement frameworks, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to drive efficiency, streamline processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within his teams.
In addition to his role at Kultura Brands Inc, he co-founded and owns MAC5 Mortgage, a successful mortgage company based in Colorado, with operations extending across six states and over $5.2 billion in residential mortgage originations since 2006. He also co-owns Cornerstone Insurance Partners, a P&C insurance agency that complements the offerings of the mortgage industry.
His leadership philosophy is deeply influenced by his Christian values, embracing principles of servant leadership, vision, and integrity. He believes that serving others is fundamental to achieving genuine success and fulfillment.
